Air Caster Buying & Selection FAQ

We supply modular air caster sets, complete air caster systems, engineered transfer platforms and carts, electric skate movers, stair climbers and electric toe jacks. Selection starts with the load, support points and moving route.

TYPE B and TYPE GF catalog module ratings range from 3.2 to 15 metric tons per module. Listed set capacities range from 12 to 90 metric tons, depending on model and module count. Check the load at each support point, centre of gravity and operating conditions; total load alone is insufficient for selection.

TYPE B and TYPE GF are separate cushion configurations. Their published model tables show the same listed capacity range. Confirm cushion construction, dimensions, replacement parts and site compatibility for the quoted model. A GF designation alone does not establish higher precision, longer life or cleanroom certification.

Air casters need a smooth, flat, sealed surface that can support an air film. Send photos of joints, cracks, transitions and the entire route. Floor suitability, gaps and any preparation must be reviewed for the selected cushion before ordering.

Use the pressure and flow values for the selected model, with units confirmed in the quotation. Review available flow at operating pressure, hose length, connections and simultaneous module operation. Confirm whether the compressor is included or supplied by the customer.

The minimum order quantity for an air caster set is one set. The module count, controls, hoses and other included components are confirmed in the quotation.

For air caster models rated at 60 metric tons or below, the normal lead time is 5–10 working days. Custom model lead times are confirmed for each project. Confirm the production start date and delivery schedule in the quotation; transit time depends on destination and shipping method.

Send load weight and dimensions, centre of gravity or support points, floor and route photos, travel distance and turns, available air pressure and flow, destination country and target delivery date. Mark unknown values as unknown so they can be reviewed.

A modular set places separate air caster modules beneath suitable load support points. A complete system has an agreed supply scope that may include modules, controls, hoses and an air supply. A platform or cart adds an engineered load-carrying structure. The quotation must identify included and customer-supplied items.

Yes. The frame, support arrangement, module configuration and controls can be reviewed against the equipment and route. Final capacity, dimensions, acceptance criteria and lead time require project confirmation.

Application videos and downloadable documents are available on this website. The videos show equipment movement but do not establish a verified load rating or identify a customer. Request model-specific drawings and an agreed test scope for your order.

No. Each document applies only to the manufacturer and models named in that document. The available skate mover, electric toe jack and stair climber attestations should not be treated as certification for air caster products. Confirm destination requirements and applicable documentation before ordering.
