Air Caster Transfer Cart for Repeated Heavy Load Moving

Purpose-built transfer carts that combine a steel frame with air caster modules for repeated moving of heavy equipment along a fixed route.

Air caster transfer cart with steel frame and air film modules for heavy load moving

Product Overview

A transfer cart is the practical answer when the same load travels the same route repeatedly - for example between a machining bay and an assembly bay. The cart carries the equipment on air film modules, so the floor stays intact and the move needs one operator instead of a crane.

Carts can be designed with loading ramps, positioning stops and a dedicated storage position so the equipment is always presented at the same height and location.

Structure & Components

Floor Requirements

Air casters require a smooth, flat and sealed floor with gaps no larger than 3 mm. Epoxy-coated concrete, polished concrete and steel plate flooring are recommended. Rough, cracked or unsealed surfaces prevent the air film from forming and must be prepared before installation. We review your floor condition and provide preparation guidance before quotation.
